The paper presented a
list of pest observed peanuts storage in amateur
warehouse in Nghe An province during
2014 - 2015. A total of 20 pest insects species belonging to 2 orders were
revealed in peanut’s amateurish storage warehouse, of those there were 18
species belonging Coleoptera, 02 species belonging Lepidoptera order. In peanut’s
specialized storage warehouse there were 12 pest insects species include 10 species belonging Coleoptera and 02 species belonging Lepidoptera order. There were 3 species more popular included Carpophilus
dimidiatus Fabr., Sitophilus oryzae
L. and Tribolium castaneum Fabr.
Observation from August to December, 2014 showed that the density
average of Carpophilus dimidiatus Fabr., Sitophilus oryzae L., Tribolium castaneum Fabr. and Cryptolestes sp. in peanut’s amateurish storage
warehouse higher than peanut’s specialized storage warehouse. Their density was low in
August, September and increased in October, November and early December.
